3 January 2012 Tuesday Greetings Sistars.
It's a Bright New Year! The first month of
the year is full of mixed
emotions and energies. As we clear
out the old and organize our
lives to create sacred space for new
beginnings, let's remember to
take time to rest, renew and nurture ourselves in these first few
weeks and contemplate the vast possibilities awaiting each of us.
I am pleased to share the fourth issue of
the Goddess of the Gypsy
Moon

the Wolf Moon Rest/Renew/Nourish January is the 1st month.
In numerology the number
one signifies great power. It
represents the foundation
upon which all things begin,
indicating unity, as all things
are really one thing:
'energy'.
A word to the wise:
"Allow this
strong energy to assist you
in finding clarity within,
nurturing your body
and spirit,
dreaming illusion
into matter,
as this is an excellent
time to start new
projects." January is the doorway of the year. It is named after Janus, the god of doorways and for Ianuarius, a Saxon term Wulf- monath which means Wolf- mouth. The Latin word for "door" is ianua. This is a conflicting time of duality, as the energies stress the need for hibernation as well as emergence from deep with- drawal. It is therefore beneficial to open all the doorways of our psyche: Reclaim the wisdom from past experiences to seize with boldness and grace the expanding potential awaiting.
